Discover the Hidden Beauty of La Libertad Zamboanga Del Norte.

LA LIBERTAD MUNICIPAL PLAZA. A modern and magnificent plaza, the office of our                     hardworking public servants.

The fifth class municipality, The province of Zamboanga Del Norte. La Libertad was once a sitio of Rizal. It officially became a municipality for 60 years now. La Libertad is a Spanish name that means "Freedom". This suits the personality of 8,000 inhabitants including me. We love peace and freedom.

La Libertad is politically subdivided into 13 barangay's- El Paraiso, Poblacion, New Argao, Mercedes, San Jose, Sta Catalina, La Victoria, New Bataan, Sta Cruz, New Carcar, Mauswagon, La Union, and Singaran.  Each barangay's holds a distinct beauty that you must see for yourself.  While you are travelling going to this place, you can actually say that this little municipality is just nothing to be fascinated. It is because there's no big buildings, a quiet place, not a so crowded, no plenty of buses or jeep. However, despite of those lacking; did you know that there are numerous beautiful spots that people who are living La Libertad are proud of? Let’s find out laterI'll be your tour guide; come along with me and I'll show you the hidden beauty of the land I used to call home.

La Libertad, wait till before everyone realizes just how wonderful this place is. Though it doesn’t have beaches like Palawan or Boracay or waterfalls as magnificent as those from Cebu, La Libertad has charm in its buckets and its a place we will all love.

The vibe is completely chill, everyone stops to chat and you aren’t forced to have unnecessary guides for everything. Its the kind of place you could come to for a few days and end up staying a few weeks.

Getting around is a breeze with excellent and quiet roads. The sunsets are dreamy and don’t forget to look up at the night sky, the stars are magnificent.

Make sure your phones and cameras are charged because every location is Instagrammable.
